My Favorite Season - draft 2

My favorite season is spring. On one hand, spring is the most beautiful time of a year. First, fresh breezes blow away the cold winter air. Leaves appear on trees, and new green stems push through the old brown grass. As spring moves along, meadows turn green, and animals come out from their long winter sleep. Soft sunshine warms the earth, and colorful flowers are bloom. On the other hand, spring is also the best time to lay the foundations for the year to come. A Chinese proverb says, “The whole years work depends on a good start in spring.” If I make an effort to plant healthy seeds, I am sure to have a good harvest at the end of the year. I can take advantage of springtime to pave the way for future success. Therefore, I love spring extremely.

An Injured Experience-Draft 2

This is an injured experience that I will never forget. When I was a little girl, an accident happened to me. That day, I played with my younger sister in the park near my home. Afterwards, I competed with her in running. I was filled with self-confident that I would win, but I slipped and fell over. Suddenly, my chin was in great pain. I did not know what happened to me. Then I saw much blood on the ground. Formerly, my chin was losing lots of blood. I was too painful to say anything and burst out crying. At the time, my parents came out and were amazed why I got hurt. They took me to the hospital quickly. The doctor operated on me to suture my chin's wound. After that, I always act carefully for fear that extreme pleasure should be followed by sorrow.

A Dream I Had -Draft 2

I am afraid of insects, especially cockroaches. The fear even got into my dream. What a terrible dream it was! In it, a large cockroach ran after me. I ran very fast until I found a house and went inside. I wanted to hide from it, but, to my surprise, when I shut the door, I found that the first floor was full of cockroaches. I was so scared that I climbed up along the stair quickly to far away from them, but they never gave up chasing me. At the moment, I saw a window in frond of me. I burst open the window and jumped from it to outside without thinking. I guessed that I would die by falling but not. I was amazed that I could fly around the sky. Suddenly, I felt something strange and breathed hard. Because of a black hole sucked me in. At that point, I woke up in my bed, breaking heavily but thankful that it had all been just a dream. I thought that I should try to overcome the fear of cockroaches to be more courageous.

Making Decisions-Draft Two

Growing up means making my own decisions. When I was a child, adults made a lot of decisions for me. Now, being a teenager that will answer for my own decisions. I am growing more independent and self-reliant. My family cannot make some decisions for me. Consequently, I should start to learn to decide for myself.

The hardest decision that I ever made was choosing which department I should choose in National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School. After receiving my report card of my BC test, I wanted to be admitted to National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School. But I did not establish which department I should choose. Suddenly, I read the Department of Applied Foreign Language which was instituted in the first year. Because I am interested in English, I chose to study it. I thought that I made the right decision.
