An Embarrassing Experience-Draft One
When I was a junior high school student, an embarrassing thing happened to me. That day, I was so tired because I had stayed up until very late the previous night preparing for some tests. I did not focus on my teacher's lecture. Eventually, I dozed off and had a dream. I dreamed that I was an English teacher working hard to teach a lesson while a student slept in front of me. I was very furious that I shouted at him. Suddenly, I heard my teacher angrily shouting "Wake up!" at me. I woke up from my dream. Then, I found my teacher standing in front of me and everybody in the class looked at me. What an embarrassing experience it was! Now, I never forget my teacher's irate expression.

Perhaps you should have explained to the good teacher that had the lesson been more interesting or the teaching style been more inspirational that remaining awake would have been much easier.
Had that response not been effective, you could have raised your hand-- palm toward you; back of the hand toward the teacher. Then you could have folded all the fingers at the nuckle, leaving only the one next to the index finger extended.
That may have gotten you ejected from the classroom, but it would have enhanced the story.
Perhaps you can use that version in draft two.
*I was so tired*
*so* should change to *very*
You have to thank to your teacher.
Because this, you can let your dream more and more approached.
Wow! That dream is very realistic.
Your dream is very coincident.
But I think to stay up which is not very good for you.

Your dream came true!
I think you will never doze off
during class after this experience.
Besides, "I had stayed up until very late." the word "until" can be erased.
I just want to say "it is terrible!" Because your dream came true in the real life. I think you will never doze off during the class in the future.
